Thanks again Little Rock Film Festival for showing me and KARL DAHL AND THE GOLDEN CUBE such wonderful hospitality… It’s great to have a fest where you can hang out with so many old friends, make so many new friends, and see SO MANY awesome new films in just under 48 hours!  (One of these days I really have to clear my schedule to experience the ENTIRE lineup! I still can’t believe I missed the LRFF Fashion show this year-Somebody PLEASE post some pictures for me!)  There were some truly awesome highlights this trip, and while I can’t wait to talk ‘em up, duty calls, and they’ll have to wait a bit till I can give ‘em proper attention in a later post.  For now, I’d just like to say THANKS AGAIN Little Rock Film Festival… You Rock My World!

New Interview on THE ENTERTAINMENT CORNER!

I was lucky enough to spend some quality time with the amazing women behind THE ENTERTAINMENT CORNER  this past week, and the result is a pretty epic recorded interview, now available on their site!  Through the skillfull reporting team of Mireille Miskulin and Kristine Radford, we successfuly condensed a lifetime of design, experimentation, and filmmaking into one interview, and somehow STILL managed to connect the dots between my dance, animation, and digital interests, and how they led up to the upcoming Little Rock Premiere of KARL DAHL and the GOLDEN CUBE!  Big Thanks to Mireille and Kristine for inviting me, and I hope we get to sit down again really soon!

Join me and fellow Little Rock Film Festival filmmakers Graham Gordy, Gerry Bruno (Seven Souls), Grant Curatola (Death and the Blue-eyed Boy) and Amman Abbasi (L7) in a panel discussion all about “The Art of the Short Film“!  The panel starts at 3PM on Thursday, June 2nd, in the “Filmmakers Lounge” at the Little Rock Riverdale Cinemas!  (2600 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, AR 72202)
